Gen 1:14-15
And God said let there be lights in the expanse of the
heavens to separate the day from night. And let them be for signs and seasons,
and for days and years, and let them be lights in the expanse of the heavens to
give light upon the earth.
Psalm 19: 1-6
The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above
proclaims His handiwork. Day to day
pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. There is no speech, nor words, whose voice is
not heard. The measuring line goes out
through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them He has set a tent for the sun which
comes out like a bridegroom leaving His chamber, and like a strong man runs its
course with joy. Its rising is from the
end of the heavens and its circuit to the end of them, and there is nothing
hidden from its heat.
Ezekiel 43: 2-5
And behold, the glory of the God of Israel was coming from
the east. And the sound of His coming was like the sound of many waters and the
earth shone with His glory. And the
vision I saw was just like the vision that I had seen when He came to destroy
the city, and just like the vision that I had seen by the Chebar canal. And I fell on my face. As the glory of the Lord entered the temple
by the gate facing east, the Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner
court; and behold, the glory of the Lord filled the temple.
Louis Gigliou said, If the universe was created just for us,
the only life forms out there, then wow! He went over the top, but instead the
universe in all its splendor and majesty was created to glorify their Creator,
our Creator! That means it is just
enough.
But really do you ever think about the universe. I mean really we do not even now how great it
is! We have not discovered the end to it!
Our God created it, put it into place with the words from
His mouth! What? Just the words of his
mouth!! And He can place the entire universe, all that we have not even
discovered, in the width of His hand!
He is a great God, worthy of all our praise and adoration!
Not only did He create this huge work but then He created
us, small vessels to also glorify Him and when we turned from Him He sent His
son to this tiny planet to love us and teach us about His love for us, so that
we might run back to Him and be embraced in His arms.
He is not just this HUGE God who has put everything into
motion but He is this personal God who desires an intimate unconditional love
relationship with His people! He created
all of this so that we might give Him the glory He desires!!
